Back to October

OK, so I'm moving backwards here. What can I say...I'm trying to keep up the best I can. I seem to always be behind..oh well : )

A few weeks before Halloween my boys, along with Ashley and Kristen, stopped by the house for a visit. They had planned a trip to our local pumpkin patch and I asked if I could tag along. I love spending time with my older children and I don't get the opportunity very often.  So off we went!!!!

Watching them pick out their pumpkins was quite amusing. Chris was serious!!! He rubbed the pumpkin.....examined it.....and made sure it was just right!!!!!

The girls headed out on their own...apparently, pumpkin pickin' is serious and one must be alone to pick!!! No distractions!!!!!

The Newlyweds had a discussion over their pumpkin choices. It was serious business...after all, if they wanted to carve the pumpkin it had to be perfect...and these two are a bit competitive over who's was the best!!!!

After a little discussion...well you get the picture.

Kristen is easy going..she just plopped her pumpkin into the wagon and away she went..who cares what anyone thinks, this was her pumpkin...and Miss Ashley let her playful side out...after booting a few kids out of the teepee (I mean nicely asking them to step aside)  she did a little posing for Mom..did I mention my daughter-in-law is a goofball and fits right in at the Nuthouse!!!

After loading up their pumpkin's (Justin carried his pumpkin, fear the other pumpkin's may dent his) the kids were on their way....

I had more fun hanging out with my grown kids..they make me laugh and keep me young.
